The movie was too stressful for me. It's based on adults behaving badly. Mothers who are overbearing and often self-centered, requiring their sons to fulfill their emotional needs. And mothers who disrespect their children's choices and criticize needlessly. The mothers in this movie behave worse than their progeny- who have their saving graces. There's too much familial conflict in it for me.
