This is raw life. The characters are as real as they get and the acting is stellar. I only watch "some" tv and it has to be top notch to hold my attention. Mare of Easttown is all that and more.

A little somber but uplifting in the end. Ethan gives a credible performance as a man who has been locked away so long he is afraid to look life in the eye. The music by Jason Isbell is a pure delight.
