Dylan Michael Lord

I really liked the way this movie was paced. No hugely obvious plot points or devices. It was paced as life is paced, going through one phase at a time. I was surprised at Kevin Hart, I usually hate the genre of movies that he does, but this was really great.

I am just a few episodes in and i like the series. It doesn't resort to the typical South-East Asian tropes and is believable. I would watch an American basketball equivalent, so I enjoyed it. The big problem for me is the colorism, the only 2 dark-skinned characters are antagonists or villains. I'm talking about the lender of the 8 million and the father of course. I realized this a few episodes in and now I'm not sure I'll finish it
