Amazing graphics with the excellent gameplay made slightly better from the original and an excellent story which could've been made and connected better to the first installment but an overall amazing and emotional experience which will have you glued to your PlayStation consoles.
The Last of Us: 10/10 without a doubt.
The Last of Us part II: 8/10 just because the story could've been more focused on the connectivity to the story of the original than the over the top character development and edgy scenarios. The first one was much more connected to a general overall public rather than experimenting with a whole new spectrum of character traits and extra characters.
The should've stuck to the ingredients that made the original "Gaming's Citizen Kane moment" but instead Naughty Dog took a risk and well some people got their money's worth and some straight up hated it and continue to live their lives with TLOU being a standalone title. I for one enjoyed the game but just felt that at certain points ND just went beyond what you'd expect with this game and tried to gain the audience's attention but instead it felt like certain scenarios or scenes were being shoved down our throats without any time to recover...so was it an unnecessary drag, 30 percent of the time yes but you will definitely enjoy the game but if you're expecting it to be on par with the original, you should join "TLOU was a standalone" club.
In conclusion, I had fun playing the game...the story was kinda dragged out and focused way too much on narratives that fell away from the original story and they tried way too hard to make this a game for everyone instead of a game just for fans of the original which they failed at but eitherway playing it once isn't that bad...all in all, part one was the elite.
