this is the most successful videogame-to-movie/show to ever happen (excluding pokemon ofc lol). tomb raider tried it multiple times, failed. Uncharted is trying it, and honestly have no idea what'll come out of that. mortal combat was.. eh? the ratings for this show doesn't lie. it IS stellar. and i'm not only saying that because i play league of legends and the character you'll see are characters i use most of the time... i'm saying this because my girlfriend who doesn't play league of legends, absolutely loves the show. if you want to see a sneak peak of what league of legends is capable of animation wise, you should look up a cinematic on youtube. that should be enough to tell you what you should prepare yourself for. the soundtrack is beautiful. it hits the right chord every single time, and it paints a particular scene in your head. a particular emotion. the characters are really good. you can't help but adore the villain and hate them at the same time, and that's exactly how you write good villains. you dont make the audience hate them every moment; you allow them to fall in love with the character. i could rave about vi and caitlyn and jayce and jinx, who are all the main characters, but their side characters will steal your heart. mylo, claggor, vander, silco, viktor, ekko, even caitlyn's mother just from ONE scene... every single character is lovable which only makes the show better. (and this is for the sapphics, if you're looking to watch a show that caters to you,,, u should give this a look at. vi and cait are building up to a slow burn)
