This movie had created big hype before release. We were excited to watch it. However it turned out as a utterly disappointing movie. Remember watching shooting of this movie at Ballard estate Mumbai.

It was a surprising hit movie. Never heard of Aamir Khan before release of the movie. I remember watching it on VCR. My uncle got video cassette from library & reluctantly watched movie as it has unheard actors. However it turned out as an epic love story of that era. Anyday I will love to watch it.

Sunday used to be fun day watching Mumbai doordarshan programs followed by Star trek, Rajni, Mr Mrs, Wah Janab etc in the morning regional movie in the noon, evening there used to be Vikram vetal, Singhasan battisi following by hindi movie with single break.
