If you've played the original then 9/10 easy. If you haven't then 7/10 maybe 8/10. Hard to say because I know every detail from the original and damn the nostalgia gets stroked so good with this game. What keeps it from a 10 is the slow pacing and the linearness. What gets it a 9 is the battle system, the weapon upgrade system, and how much better they fleshed out the characters. It's odd though how they introduce new story elements, then have to forget about it for a few chapters to tell the original story, then go back to the new stuff. The pacing is my biggest gripe.

Awesome show that draws heavily from the novels. But will delight the audience who came to know the series from the games, like me, as well.
