I never wanted to spoil the ending of a movie so bad till I saw this one. It is so so bad, I'm surprised it actually received some praises from viewers here. These ppl have no idea what they talk about and they need to go out and watch more horror movies to justify this one as good. Seriously..?
I'm a sucker for horror / scary movies and I can safely say I've watched tonnes of them, from the very good to the very bad.
I Still See You definitely falls under a very painfully bad.
The storylines are all over the place. In one scene, these two clueless characters heard warning broadcast on the radio, telling them not to enter Ground Zero. You'd suspect some military might stop them or something. But nope, it was just for show.
Also, why would anyone pay up and risk themselves going to Ground Zero just to watch some girl got murdered? Whaat?
I can tolerate if the remnants (ghosts) could somehow communicate / interact with the living. But NOT to the extent that a remnant is able to save someone buried alive by digging up the grave, pull him out of it and talk to him..??? What? Whaaatt???
Acting wise: so stiff and laughable.
The script: total cliche.
I bet Dermot Mulroney regretted his decision to act in it.
Speaking of the ending.. Well, it's a rip off of the 2000 horror movie called What Lies Beneath starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Harrison Ford.
So, there you have it. If you know your movies, don't bother watching this one...!
