A thoughtful, important, well acted film, Definitely see it. My only complaint…virtually every scene is filmed in the dark, which affords no opportunity to enjoy any of the subtleties of acting.

After three episodes, I’m totally hooked. I never watch post-apocalyptic fantasy fiction, but this just drew me in before I knew what it was. Appealing characters, good acting, compelling story. Give it a chance!

I don’t think this film went deeply enough into the community. It feels very real, and the stories are of interest, but my overall reaction is, “Is that all there is?” I wish it had been a documentary series.

Watched it by mistake after my son recommended the TV series of the same name. I laughed out loud more than a few times. Some comic bits I’ll remember forever. Loved the commitment of the “Mexican” actors. It’s well written and briskly paced. Maybe a breakout actor in a major role would have drawn a wider audience.

Invest in the first half and the second half will knock your socks off. Don’t miss it. Leave your phone in another room.
