It is easy to see why the ratings for this show have tanked. I have watched all of the prior seasons on Netflix. I was never a fan of this show believing it was ER lite. That said, watching from the first season to the eleventh season, my opinion changed and I found the show entertains. Now, in the eleventh season it is clear what happened to the ratings. The believability factor is low. In many actual hospitals the reality is far different. While I do enjoy some of the show, it is mostly a continual re-hash of scripts and relationships that are now becoming a bore. In addition, the treatment of nurses is idiotic. in reality, Nurses are skilled professionals and not window dressing for a plot line. The addition of new unknown children of Ella Grey makes me shake my head. Poor writing. On one hand he she was the brilliant surgeon on the other, a hateful woman who abandoned her loved ones. Really? it is a possibility but so doubtful it is maddening.
