My dad, Ens Arthur Rausch, was assigned to the Bombing Squadron Six from 12/13/41 to 6/16/42. He flew his plane 6-B-17 on the 2nd day of the Battle of Midway and attacked, with his squadron, a Japanese destroyer. I have not seen the movie yet...I'll watch the movie and let you know how it compares with his war diary of what really happened those three days. I'm optimistic.
