Even after more than fifty years of the publication of this antique, education system in India doesn't witness the change which is needed and suggested by Paulo Friere. Though we may advocate that there has been a change from traditional education system to present education system but it is all in books, journals and in research papers. When you enter a typical Indian classroom, you will find that there are oppressed and oppressors.
Even at higher level of education, the students are slaves of the intelligentsia group. One can find less facilitators than autocrats in the classrooms.
Banking model of education in Indian Classrooms is still available there and the dialogics may be a better solution to this problem. The change in this model can be brought by dialogics. This will lead to the creation of new knowledge and the students will not be oppressed ones rather the creator of knowledge and liberated ones.
