The show is great, the animation is good, the cast is fantastic, and there is a story arc spanning the season. We only have part 1 but it is setting up the Hero’s Journey for what was a supporting cast member from the original show to restore the magic in the world and save the universe. The negative reviews are people that want just He-Man fighting with no plot or depth of character to the cast. Ignore them because you’ll be missing out on a fantastic show. It is kind of telling that 95% of critics like the show but a toxic minority review bombed it.
