Outstanding movie. First pairing of Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn. As the film goes on, Tracy and Hepburn develop a great working relationship that would be evident in 8 more films.

One of my all time favorite adventure films. Humphrey Bogart and Kate Hepburn do an outstanding job in the lead roles of Charlie Allnutt and Rosie. John Huston does a great job of directing this story in the African jungle. Bogart won a Best Actor Oscar for playing Charlie. Katherine Hepburn has written a book, The Making of the African Queen that is an entertaining book.
Highly recommended.
