I was very late to watch this movie but I regret having missed out on it for so long. The movie is exceptionally built with a storyline separated into two halves with the first half solely being devoted to the build up and by the time the second half comes around we are completely invested into it. The songs aren't forced into the movie and there aren't any plot holes. The movie leaves us with a lot of questions about our lives and the lives of women. Watching this on the heels of another rape case in Jammu and Kashmir, I am at times humiliated to call myself an Indian. Because this is how India is. Every murder and every rape case are just news bits for the media to improve their ratings. But the pain and suffering will always remain with the ones that lost. A wonderful story on friendship and heartbreak without the need for a romantic angle. Must watch by every person who does not have a demon inside them and a necessity to pluck out the weeds in the society we live in.
