The first two season were excellent, third one was still pretty good, but the fourth one was terrible. They decided to focus more on the ships and not on the plot anymore. We knew Mina was a racist person, but her being the main villian for season four was disappointing. Also the 'Moon is the twist villain' thing just makes NO SENSE and doesn't work. She was only a 'villian' to help move Mina's plan, which already was kind of unnecessary. Star's relationships were also part of the reason S4 was disappointing. They chose shipping fuel over time to make a better villian and plot for the final season. They could chose other things to expand on, like Jackie and Marco's relationship and NOT make Star and Marco end up together. There were many ways the final season could of went. Heck, with a few changes, The Battle for Mewni could of ended the show.
