It is something new, but two things about the movie just kill it. 1. The director should not have made the protagonist a policeman, because more than making sense, him being a policeman screws the plot badly, It was irrelevant. 2. One big story flaw, the protagonist fights with the Jap man after his daughter is possessed and not the other way around.

Yes as everyone is saying, do not trust the negative reviews. The movie is beautiful, it is not only a love story but also the movie touches upon the complexities which are faced by youngsters in the 2020. It beautifully touches the deep and dark sides of one's life as well. Watch it if you are brave enough.
