The girl as a boy trope is a personal favorite, and after reading the description, and seeing the title pic of Xu Kai I went on to watch 34 of the 48 episodes in a week. Not only are the male leads hotties, but the ost is great and I'm even learning something of Chinese history. I love the leads chemistry so much I even started watching their other historical drama the Legends, its good, but Arsenal is great and is already on my 4ever re-watch list

This isnt the first turkish drama that I have seen, but it is the first that i couldnt stop watching. 50 eps @ 2hours each and i finsihed it in 2 weeks. The plot was bit too soap opera but the characters of Fazilet, Hazan and Yagiz held the entire series, i was rivited anytime any of them were on screen. The plot of Hazan and Yagiz was the pillar of the show for me. It was obvious the the orginal intention was for Hazan to "change" Sinan, but the chemisty with Yagiz couldnt be denied. As an american audience the romance was too slow, and only one mouth kiss ticked me off, but talk about realtionship goals Yaghaz 4ever
