To summarize: Prolonged Dissatisfaction! Good concept terrible delivery! Within the first 10mins the whole movie is delivered...i mentioned this to my fellow viewers that I hoped the concept would be executed well because it looks like its going to die... The writers failed this movie and the actors didn't bring any unique edge to their characters! There was a major female power role that was SO MAJOR it consumed the story and made the story feel as if it was just about a lesbian couple fighting men and haters! A very pushed view! I've seen better strong female roles! The lead female Rosamund Pike failed her role, she portrayed a crazier role in Gone Girl... This character was in need of that level of crazy and it was just not portrayed! This role needed to see more crazy and not so relaxed... She's was too much of a wanna be badass but her business is kidnapping old people!! And having zero regard for their families because of money and the power it brings! She had a very relaxed partner and they both treated it like this is normal, the characters should've been a very toxic Joker and Harley Quinn type of crazy but was more of a Winnie the pooh and piglet! They were "scared"... She was at most a business women and she should've been terrified and fought in fear and given the lady back. But she was written as a business women who's on the same level as Russian mafia!?! And didn't have to comply because she's somehow a criminal mastermind!?!... At most she's a bully who takes advantage of weaker people! Not a business shark with power to take down corporations let alone mafia...Speaking of which she was able to get to tailgate a mafia driver and there was not one bit of suspecion?? Rosamund displays nothing of such!..she lost touch with this character. The story story finishes with her dying via shot wound (Which seemed like very last minute write up idea) from someone who in reality would've been given a restraining order after attacking her in the beginning... but she deserved far more brutal death especially seen as it was the Russian mafia who would hold guns to drivers for not picking up their mother but taking it lightly on someone who kidnapped her?!? It was very sub-par and just boring...Had alot of potential. Very unrealistic twists, no sense! People were killed and brought back! This was a waste of production time and money. Deserved a 5.3 not a 6.7
