This book is a perfect example of the fallacy that it is somehow noble to be a victim. I tried very hard to like this book. I just could not give any merit to the words of someone who’s life challenges included being forced to attend catholic Sunday school, and growing up in the upper middle class of the wealthiest country in the world. There are a lot of books out there about overcoming adversity and becoming who you were meant to be. This is not one of them.
