There are three types of horror movies: those movies that are awfully bad, those movies that are great, and movies that are awfully violent/gruesome. This movie is the latter. There's nothing of an important lesson or any message here rather than showing the darkest side of humanity. The violence and gruesome scenes outshines one of the biggest part of a horror movie, will it plague you with questions and makes you think about the movie, or you just wanted to forget the movie because of how god-awful it is and how much it lacks substance? I've never watched this movie, because I'll know that I will ultimately fail to justify the gore with art and "history".
