Buy Octopath Traveller instead. This is mediocre at best, with a tiny story, easy opponents and riddled with content only accessible if you buy the DLC for like $40 or Pokemon Let's Go. Liked the Dynamax idea, Would have been nicer if it were harder and the base game was actually worth the price.

The depth of this game ranging from the music to the beautiful level designs shows how much effort the creators put into this reasonably difficult game. After my utter disappointment in Pokemon Sword which I lazily finished in around 8 or so hours of gameplay, I went back to Octopath after clocking 50 hours and only just finishing the final chapter of 6 characters and discovering new secondary jobs and side quests. If you want a fun well-made game that's well worth the price then this game is for you.
