If it wasn't for the cat, this would be a one star. It's a shame because we loved the first two. This almost ruins the first two for us. With a weak plot the movie was slow and boring. It had a few chaos, action, and suspenseful scenes, but they were nothing special. Barely scary/horror. For "Day One" we don't learn anything about the invasion. It begins and all of a sudden people know to be quiet. Main characters move along, making questionable choices, with the movie having no real input to the overall story line of the other movies.
