More so than Spielberg's Saving Private Ryan, lacks historical integrity and prolongs the story by dragging out the "misadventures" of the hero. Screening time should have been substantially shorter. The scenes depicting the appalling conditions and the soldiers in WW1 trenches vividly portrayed. Verdict, go if you want a boys own adventure story.
