I simply love this movie. Although it’s of course got a typical teenage unrealistic storyline, it quickly won me over with the great lead performances from Lana Condor and Noah Centineo, as you can almost see and experience them falling in love throughout the film. Particularly Lana Condor though, she basically made the movie what it is, and although her character didn’t seem to have many quirks to her, she portrayed her in such a likeable, relatable way that drew me in. The whole atmosphere of the movie is so perfect as well, with all the pastel-like colours that make it really relaxing and comforting to watch. The soundtrack is amazing as well.

I watched this movie so many times throughout my childhood, but only watching it now do I appreciate it for what it really is. It’s a TRUE romance movie, with amazing chemistry between the two leads, and a beautiful performance from Keira Knightley, who plays such a strong female lead character in an entirely believable way. It has its quirks throughout as well, and it’s simply a charming movie from start to finish.

I have to admit that James Bond is not the kind of movie that I tremendously enjoy. I appreciate them and their existence, but I don’t overly praise them. This is the exception. The first time I saw this I enjoyed it from start to finish, and is in my opinion the best Bond film thus far. Really what serves for the movie is the different sort of story, being mostly if not entirely focussed on Bond’s past and embedded with a lot of meaning, with little distraction from a terribly sexist Bond girl as such which I particularly liked. It’s thrilling, with a great performance from Javier Bardem, who is the best Bond villain in my opinion.

My word, it’s possibly the best film of all time. It’s hilarious, heart-warming and just has a generally good atmosphere that put you in the best mood when you watch it. I’ve probably seen this movie over 10 times and it will forever be one of my favourite films. Honestly, everything about it is brilliant.

I’ve just always loved this film. It’s that sort of movie you could watch over and over again without being bored or sick of it in any way. Sandra Bullock is brilliant in this, just hilarious, and one of the most excellent features of this film is the relationship between her character and Michael Caine’s character. I thoroughly enjoyed how they basically mocked pageants, yet there was still a decent message to come out of it at the end. Without looking at the film in terms of the sexism (which was bound to appear anyway, it is literally a movie about a pageant), the script was witty and gloriously done in my opinion and fantastically delivered by a talented cast, making for an engaging, funny and well-developed film.

This was a really great documentary. I never once lost interest during the film and I was really drawn to what was being addressed. I am shocked that I was not aware of this happening when it did, but it is brilliant that they are addressing it today. I could not believe how unjust, disrespectful and ignorant our Australian people could be towards the Indigenous and their culture, it is just unacceptable.

I bloody love this movie. Again, Taika brings it home with yet another hilarious and fun film blended with success of Marvel Studios to create a masterpiece of a movie. I particularly enjoyed the performances of Tom Hiddleston (who took on a new and a much more hilarious side of Loki), Taika Waititi as Korg (this literally made the movie), and Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie. I definitely recommend this movie!!

This is one of my favourite films for many reasons. Taika Waititi is such a talented and fun director, which really brings this movie together. The performances by the two leads are brilliant and really make the film so hilarious. This remains one of my top 5 films as it is brilliantly crafted, utterly hilarious and just plain amazing.
