This movie give the Movie time line more releif than the normal timeline
for example *SPOILERS* with the death of Michael Blac in the Tv, and in this one they both Micheal and Klan survive. this also gives you question What happen between the 3 main characters after this, did two of them get married?! or could he not choose a girl

I would say that This Moving is good for people who don't want to watch all of the episodes of Macross 7. it covers all major points of 7 in one sitting, and gives a modern Twist of songs from 7.
