I almost didn't give this movie a fair shot because I read all the negative reviews right before watching. I'm glad I did give it my time, though. Whatever filmographer criticizing art folk want to give, the message of this movie is IMPORTANT. The entire conversation is one the US has been having for centuries, amplified to deafening proportions in the last year. We white folx have an entire system built upon supremacy and designed to perpetuate it, and dark skinned folx are dying because of that. This movie sums up so much in just a couple of hours and I think it can move us all along in our anti-racism goals if listen to this message.
