Enjoyable at times, but undoubtedly badly put together. It's a bit like a Star Wars Prequel. Lots of good concepts and spectacle, but it was always gonna be hard to adapt.

As good as a "Animated character comes to earth" movie can be I suppose. All the human bits were boring sept for Eggman and his sidekick.

There has never been a masterpiece as good as this. At one point the doctor is studying animals in a book, says "This book is fantastic! Who wrote it? Oh it was me!"
