Wanted to like it, but ultimately a poor showing. I really like the premise of the show, from the interaction of science and faith, to Ava’s innocence and wonder having just recovered from paralysis. Unfortunately, the creator’s attempts at mystery and deception leave the viewers wanting for true plot and character development. While the twists at the end of the season were intriguing, the cliff hanger ending was poorly executed. Ultimately I was not impressed with the show, and wouldn’t recommend another season despite my curiosity following the season 1 finale.
