The house on mango street. This book was definitely not my cup of tea. I found myself very bored while reading this book and don’t exactly understand how this is considered a classic. As the Novel has hidden & deep meanings/messages, it’s supposed to be conveyed by the reader. I found it very excruciating to do that by digging through these pages. Although the idea that was conveyed was great. The way she told it was just not good at all and just confusing. This book was annoying to read but I do understand her mission for wanting a better life
