Very different from the book. Hopefully the action picks up. Not even close to GOT. The whole concept of the Dragon possibly being a woman goes against the whole concept of Saidin being tainted, thus causing the madness that envelops the Dragon. The books already portrayed several strong female characters in positions of power.
Who is more powerful than the Amyrlin Seat?
Who is more badass than Maidens of the Spear?
Looks like they stretched to make the film more woke by proposing the Dragon Reborn could be a female. I will continue to watch to see how it develops.
