Castle Bravo – Google

It's an entertaining and fun film, but it's a terrible sequel to the legendary "An American Werewolf in London". If you just watch the film and pretend that it has absolutely no connection to the original film, it's actually pretty enjoyable. Don't expect any scares though. This film is basically pure comedy and has a radically different tone than the original. The original film had comedic elements here and there, but overall it was horror and had an extremely dark and brutal tone. The same can't be said for An American Werewolf in Paris - which seems to be focused purely on comedy and has a very "feel good" vibe to it (happy ending, for example). Check it out. It's fun. But again, I emphasize, pretend it has nothing to do with An American Werewolf in London.

Surprisingly good film. Much better than I expected it to be. What's notable about this film is that it shows a very human side to Dahmer. He was a sick, sadistic serial killer of course, but this film also shows that deep inside he was a very lonely, sad, messed up guy. This film almost makes you pity him. Almost. The film isn't focused on the murders. Of course, it does show a few of his murders, but the film seems to focus more on his life, his relationships with family and others, his past, etc. It's a film about Dahmer, the man. Not just Dahmer, the serial killer. Since it's an hour and a half film, a lot was left out of course. They skipped over his time in the military, for example.
