This movie is close to being perfect. Despite the fighting scenes not looking very sharp and a slight drag in the middle it’s a beautiful film. Jaw was on the floor during the gates of hell part and had a single tear run down my cheek when he was taken to Valhalla. The bad reviews are merely proof that modern audiences are brain dead.

I really enjoyed this movie. Still can’t decide where I would have it in comparison to TDK but it was definitely close. The fight scenes in this movie are some of the best Batman fights we’ve seen. Because of this I felt like we should’ve gotten a little more of those but it’s fine. This movie definitely isn’t for everyone though. Very long runtime but if u love the character that will be nothing. The darkness of the film is definitely what makes it what it is. This isn’t a fun time with the family so don’t treat it that way. It’s dark, gritty, and real.

It’s not a 5 star movie but it’s fun. Very underwhelming due to all the hype around it. I’m glad they set Tom Holland up to have some good spidey movies though.
