Hello, I found this book excellently researched and very easy to read. William Rowan was my great uncle, and so I found out more about my great grandparents and various cousins and aunts/ uncles my parents has referenced in my child/young adulthood.. It brought me closer to my cousins(Rowan was their Grandfather), and opened up a lot of possibilities. However, I was sad the author has passed on, as I wanted to tell her how much I appreciated the book's contents and the detail it uncovered about specific residences, and the emotional hue of the family members at times.
