It may be over 10 years old, but I love this hidden gem! The World Tour mode is probably the main reason why this game is just my favorite in the Virtua Tennis series. It would've taken a lot of time to make all of the non-famous players. But it was worth it - from the names of Amelia Cameron, Mani Kraprayoon, Katie Barrett, Matt McIntosh, Lee Ho-sun, Lian Fournier, everyone is unique and I love that. It takes time and effort to make it to the top, but I like that because it adds realism. So I do agree, the World Tour Mode was significantly expanded. Also, the famous players also are very realistic, too! Their play styles and their appearance are very alike to how they are in real life (most of them are retired, though).
Additionally, I do like the new minigames and the graphics as a whole. For being released in 2009, it's pretty decent. Either way, if you want to re-discover the Virtua Tennis series, this one's an easy game to start with.
