Just got out the theater. After gathering my thoughts, I have to say this is slight above average 6.5/10 Don't get me wrong its an excellent movie to promote anxiety. The idea is there but executed poorly. I get everyone is raving over the anxiety message glossing over a poorly executed plot. But the anxiety message was only presented during the 2nd and final arc of the film and I just couldn't ignore what PIXAR did with the OG emotions. SPOILER ALERT: I'm not a psychologist so these comments are solely base on my limited knowledge, understanding and common sense. My problems with New/old Characters This could be a stand alone movie. IO2 introduce new emotions and have OG emotions kick out of their home. So we have Anxiety, Envy, Embarrasment and the french dude (no idea what he does). Here are my issues with the new characters: - You can't have anxiety without fear. - You can't have envy withou disgust. - You can't have embarrasment without sadness. Sidelining the OG emotions is not gonna cut it. It just raise so many questions for adult viewers. How does anxiety actions (planning ahead) prompt Riley to be Happy if Joy wasn't around? How did anxiety prompt Riley to get aggresive in the final trial hockey game if anger wasn't around. So instead of kicking the OG emotions away. They should have them evolve to show growth in each emotions turning into a new emotions losing their sense of purpose with new changes or have them work with new emotions together stiring up conflicts then eventually realise to complement each other. Perhaps have anxiety hold hands with the OG emotions to show that all these emotions work alongside each other. Didn't IO 1 thought Joy to work with Sadness? How come Joy was shown running the show again in IO 2 and Anxiety kicking out all the OG emotions? HOW DOES THAT WORK? ANXIETY literrally derive from FEAR. You can't have anxiety an emotion of its own without fear. I agree the plot is nearly identical with IO 1. OG emotions stranded finding their way back to the control tower. It's just excuse for PIXAR laziness to reused the same plot and gloss it over with ANXIETY AWARENESS in the final arc. Hence getting majority pass votes to achieve best animated picture of the year. anyway those are my main issues with the movie. it could be better if PIXAR is more creative with their execution.

Review and RANTS - Deserve 5 star if its not for the ending. What a roller coaster ride of a show SEASON 2 turned out to be. JY definitely my favourite cast in the show with his quirkiness, genuine down to earth and no nonsense personality is what we the viewers want to see. The chemistry and relationship of JY and seulki got me giggling so bad when ever both of them are on screen exchanging conversation and flirting with each other being low-key couple when they were in Paradise just felt so organic, natural and unscripted. You just end up rooting for them to hold hands and leave Inferno together would be the cherry on top. But obviously there's a plot twist at the end that I'm sure most of you like me are still in shock for 30mins straight even after the credits ended. Where Seulki ended up choosing Jongwoo instead. Here's my thoughts and RANTS. I might sound bias as like most of you I'm on Team JY and Seulki all the way. I honestly felt discontent with JW having to get the girl at the end. It felt to me like Seulki choose JW out of pity and JW forced himself onto Seulki like real hard. We could might as well call him MR TRY HARD.The guy tried so hard forcing himself on Seulki even shove an open bookmarked page to her face trying to get her to change her mind, Tbh JW felt like a close comfort friend more than a BF material to Seulki. FFS The guy even cry his tears out in public showing everyone how bad he wanted to be with Seulki (and this was the night before the final decision) OMG, that's just straight up pathetic pulling out the big guns by making a scene. At least Min-su have the decency to shed her tears in private (respect). Dont even get me started with his eyes squinting and bitting his bottom lips facial expression. Dude, it’s constantly either praying or showing SIMP traits intentionally all the time hoping he could get Seulki without even showing respect to the girl decision and her feeling towards JY. At least Han-Bin is mature enough to accept defeat. I mean even if JW accepted defeat but SK still choose him it wouldnt seem as bad. FUNNY ENOUGH, I not even the only one picking this up, the cast reaction video even show them questioning if his crying or sobbing with that facial expression. I might be overboard with the hate on JW but its just something about him and his actions that doesnt sit well with me. I honestly do not think JY messed up or being too vague with Seulki. His just being himself telling her his relationships concern in the real world. HIs a no nonsense guy. I think that takes a lot of boldness and courage to sabotage your own happiness and giving up the girl you like. People arguing JY wasnt around Seulki should rewatch the entire season. JY was constantly being pull over and sent to Paradise. But 1st thing returning to Inferno. He would check on Seulki. Look I understand hard work payoff, the more you knock the door will open eventually. But not making a scene crying like a baby hoping for pity love. I'm honestly concern with their relationship of JW being a overbearing and controlholic over Seulki wellbeing if things didnt go JW way. Anyway, to sum up my review. IMO Season 2 is miles better than Season 1 except for the pitiful decision making at the end. It just felt unreal and pathetic.

Awful film with everchanging motives from all character. Everything feel force and unatural. None of the characters are likable except Ron's personality. Message of the story is rather vague and poorly delivered. Movie trying to setup issues with making friends due to highly dependent on social media. But theres not payoff and the end. Even with Ron's agorithm uploaded to the cloud. Everyone still glued to their B-Bots. So we basically reverting back to square one with slightly rebelious B-bots? Film also address the issue of cyber bullying and how a viral video may affect an individual mental health. But movie doesnt address any resolution to the victim. Films shows the victim constantly sad and drepess. But no help was presented to address this issue. Film just did a mindwipe by deleting the video from the cloud and expect everyone to forget the girl is Poop girl ? Unrealistic much? Are you telling kids its okay to upload viral video that may endanger their mental health and this will all go away once the video is deleted? What about the ones uploaded in their human brains? The writing is cliche and uninspiring. The whole hiding in the forest scene achieve nothing at all. the sequence is basically telling you how much of a best friend your AI mobile phone which only programmed to your needs is better making real human friends to the extend you could leave behind human touch and live with your AI device forever. Next scene the CEO just decide not to terminate Ron after Ron dubbed a hero? Mate, a defective bot is still out and about!! How long would it take until the bot screw up again? I dont get the high praise for the movie. sure animation and sound is awesome but the story is subpar and sending the wrong message to children about social media. Ironically, with a film that focus on making AI device your best friend. it actually tries to warn parents why kids shouldnt have mobile phones or be on social media or fornite at a young age. The film only shows kids with B-bots and one scene shows what happen if devices got jailbreak all hell break lose. Kids constantly abusing online purchase and mods without any consequences whatsoever. The school that allow B-bots do not have any fail safe in place at all if one or all of them went rogue. you can imagine how poorly written this film is...omg...

BGM was on point for couple of slice of life and goofy scene. Other than that it just feel forced and off putting. Forcing each character to break one liner with a stance while just screwed up a job. It just totally ruined the atmosphere and tension in the last heist breaking into the vault bit with Splatoon 2 music orchestrating the entire life threating sequence. I initially thought the script is to blame, forcing out cringed one-line eventhou non was needed. But I gradually notice it was the BGM thats building up towards the punch-line. As for the story arc, Ep 1-10 shows the MC being a total douche and an overconfident man-child that is unlikable at all. The so called legendary crook is not even qualified to be a leader nearly getting everyone kill with his noncontigencies (Plan C). The show redeem itself after ep10. Where the MC decided to be a responsible mature adult. Blackmailing superhero to pull off an impossible heist againts the main antagonist as if the MC suddenly grew a pair of balls after ep10. If you are expecting similar story with The Boys or Invincible. Super Crook will not achieve that level of dark emotional plot. It often feels like the show is holding the character back from actually taking a dark turn. Playing it safe and moved on.

Just finish watching Nomadland. I gotta say this movie is so average. A movie that barely deserve winning the motion picture of the year. The entire film felt like a national geographic where a person go on a soul searching roadtrip adventure to get away from society and the comfort of their families whist exploring the beautiful landscape of American soil. The film is constantly flexing the beautiful landscape of America. This is where the majority of the audience get sucked in including myself which totally explain the overrated rating and reviews on the movie (a masterpiece of showcasing the beauty and nature of America). Born and raise from a 3rd world country myself. I do not feel sad or sympathetic towards Ferns lifestyle. There isnt any stake at all. The people she met are just a bunch of rich people trying hard to be poor while enjoying nature. This is why the Mexicans wanted to an American so bad. Even when your homeless on a wheel you get to travel about meeting new kind hearted people without any evil intent, having decent meal. Getting a multiple part-time job to make a living while gazing upon the beautiful scenaries (stargazing). Man, its like a backpacker lifestyle. No to mention getting financial support from family while your house-van broke down. Try applying these elements to a 3rd world country. I bet the settings itself would have easily related to a wider audience. Heres Nomadland in a nutshell : a Lady who couldnt put the past behind her sets on a soul searching journey closing out herself from family members who are willingly trying to help her through tough times. She coincidentally met a group of people with similar conditions and they have fun, making new friends and most of the time exploring the beautiful nature of America with nothing at stake liken to a backpacker.
