How disappointing it was for Mrs O to react the way she did on Wednesday's episode of The Talk. As a faithful viewer since inception, her support for Pierce Morgan's obvious racist platform against Meghan Markle was astonishing. On one hand she asked to be educated, but when her co-hosts were trying to do just that, she immediately got defensive, wouldn't listen, continued to interrupt them, and completely disrespected the position they were attempting to take. This is unfortunately what happens when white privileged people are trying to be schooled on racist behavior. This was a missed opportunity for her to stand with what is right as opposed to once again completely ignoring the voices of people of color who are trying to express and validate their experiences.
