Ask anyone who's seen the whole franchise of terminator movies and they will not even doubt the fact that terminator 2 is the best. It has an unbelievably well written plot and continues very well from the last film. The action scenes are so well done and the plot while being on a very similar theme to the first one, still keeps it's own identity and uniqueness. The soundtrack is excellent and has a wonderfully nice tune and beat. It subtly differs from the original film, however I'd say for the best. The sudden change in the middle cam really change the tone and it very well changes between the dark, booming section for the terminator and the nice John Connor light hearted theme. I really feel that this is one of the, if not only film that can take the evil and killer terminator and turn him into a dedicated protector that would risk his life to save the life of John, they executed it almost perfectly and if there were any other films that pulled it of as well as Cameron, call me curious.

The empire strikes back is no movie, it's a masterpiece. From the excellent acting, plot and plot twist, I would argue it's one of the best films of all time. I know people always say the original is better than the sequel. but this is one of the few cases where those people would be wrong. The special effects for the time were revolutionary, and although there's always the remastered edition is seems a little less genuine and considering the film is from 1980 is a little strange. This however does not affect my opinion on the movie whatsoever. This is by far the best of the star wars films and I feel life is doing a dishonour to those who have not seen it. A brilliant watch and something that I will and always have loved. If you would like to see a brilliant film, there's not a better one I could recommend.
