I don't usually do reviews because you can tell when a movie is gonna suck or not, but based on these so called "critics" just bashing this movie is frustrating and they can honestly eff off. Sure the story is basic and simple, but this is a movie about Godzilla. After they did more story than monster showing in the 2014 release, everyone wanted more Godzilla! And guess what? They delivered! The audience in my theater clapped when the credits rolled. A complete 180 flip from the 2014 with the amount of Monster fighting!
I say give this movie a chance! Go into it with the thought of seeing monsters fighting! (Like mad max fury road, more showing and less telling.)
Check the difference between the "critics" and general public and hopefully you do yourself the favor. (Grew up watching Godzilla, so I have a major soft spot for it.)
