After finishing up the Booster Course Pass for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the Nintendo Switch, I can gladly say this: this is one of the best games in the Mario Kart series! In fact, it is one of the best games of all time! This game demonstrates what Mario Kart is all about, while also adding new mechanics that was not seen in the series until now! The new anti-gravity mechanics bring a whole new way of creativity of racing along walls and even upside-down! In addition, the Booster Course Pass is the icing on the cake, bringing back several favorite characters and tracks from previous Mario Kart games! Such examples include Birdo, Diddy Kong, Waluigi Pinball, 3DS Rainbow Road, and many more! If you want one Mario Kart game that shows its creativity and uniqueness, this is one HUGE option! It is worth it!

Even though I have never seen this film, if I could give this review 0 stars, I would have done that with pleasure. It's just...what was even the point of this film becoming a thing?? WHY????? There's literally no reason for this film to exist at all. If I went to the theater to see this, I would have hated movies for a long time. This is worse than Fast X which that film was released in 2023, which is pretty sad.

After seeing the first Guardians of the Galaxy film and really liking it, this one is just as good as the first! Many sequels that I have seen in the past miss the mark, but this one...It does NOT miss! I think it is one of the best sequels out there for a variety of reasons: 1: The timeline that this movie takes place. It takes place a few months after the first film in 2014. This is helpful because you feel like you did not miss anything from the first film after the Guardians completed their first mission in defeating Ronan. 2: The plot and direction. James Gunn is arguably one of the better film directors, so when it was confirmed that he would direct the sequel, there was a bigger chance that this movie was gonna be a box office smash. Now for the plot and direction: This movie takes a closer look at the mysterious parentage Peter has even though the first film started to hint on this since he is half-human and half-Celestial. This was great because this second film reveals what the first film was hinting at when that film was over. Also, Gunn himself chose to give the audience a closer look at the roles the Guardians had in this film, where this was a smart move by him. 3: The performances of the cast. The cast that returned from the first film performed very well in their roles (Especially Karen Gillan as Nebula). In addition, the standout performances for me were Kurt Russell as Ego, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, and Michael Rooker as Yondu in this film. Pom is literally her character and Gunn chose the perfect actress to play her. Also, Russell did an amazing performance himself with the way his character turns evil and how the Guardians figure this out. Michael Rooker also had his best performance yet playing Yondu. With the way he says this phrase "He may have been your father, but he wasn't your daddy", that really hits you in an emotional way since Ego wasn't a true father to Quill at the end despite Ego showing this in the beginning. 4: The ending. This one really sticks with you especially how the Guardians held the funeral for Yondu. It really speaks for itself in an emotional/thoughtful way. If there is one sequel I recommend, it is this one! It is worth a watch!

Not gonna lie, out of all the disaster films that I have seen, this one did a nice job in showcasing if a magnitude 9 earthquake struck the west coast of the USA. The Rock, Gugino, Daddario, and Gruffudd did a nice job portraying their characters. The plot, (with most disaster films not doing great with them) was actually not that bad. This one really sticks with you after the scene involving the collapse of the Hoover Dam and how the investigations pan out regarding the big one later on in the movie. It definitely kept me guessing how the rest of the movie's plot was gonna go. And this film had it's own emotional moments too. The scene where Kim Park (Yun Lee) sacrificing himself to save the girl during the Hoover Dam Earthquake scene was a tough one to get through especially the way Yun Lee says "Close your eyes" before being swept away. Another emotional moment in the film was when Ray saved Blake from drowning. For the 5 minutes prior from Ray saving her daughter, it was definitely emotional thinking about if Blake did drown after Ray says "Don't You Quit On Me!". The pure raw emotion that the Rock displays in that scene is phenomenal. He, along with the other actors I mentioned earlier did a very nice job in their performances. Also, the ending compared to other disaster films, wasn't a terrible ending as you would normally expect. It feels an ending where you feel relieved that the main characters were able to persevere and stand together despite the adversity of the disaster portrayed in this film. If you are a fan of earthquake films, you will like this one.

Here's my opinion on this film: It's definitely not the worst F&F film out there even though it does have its plot holes here and there. One highlight from this film is Jason Momoa's performance as Dante. He was awesome to the point you hated his character because of Reyes's over-the-top personality. Vin Diesel and the others that return from previous films (Gibson, Rodriguez, Ludacris, Brewster, John Cena) did great in their respective roles in this movie. Another thing I did like about this film is that it ended on a cliffhanger. Some people dislike this method, but if it's done right, it can set the stage of the events that will unfold in the next film of a certain franchise like F&F. In this case, they did it right where a sequel to this film coming out in 2025 will set the stage of what happens next in Fast 11 (especially that mid-credits scene featuring Hobbs portrayed by The Rock with Dante calling him. That was awesome to see that Dwayne Johnson will be back in the next film). Now time for the flaws. One flaw I noticed was that some of the stunts performed in this film were definitely on the unrealistic side, but thankfully not as over-the-top as F9 was. The second flaw is that the film can tend to jump from one scene to the other at times without giving enough context to the audience what will happen next due to the direction by the director. Overall: If you do like the Fast and Furious films like I do, you'll like this film to an extent even though this film is not as good as some of the others are (like Fast 5 and Furious 7 for example). But the film isn't a total failure either since it does set the stage for the sequel coming out in 2025. Give it a watch if you want and you be the judge for this one. I also recommend watching the previous 9 films before watching this one too. Rating: 7.3/10.

Watched this yesterday night, and I gotta say this: WOW. This film was UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING. This was the first film that I ever watched that was directed by Nolan, and man...What an amazing filmmaker he is. From the very beginning to the end, it had me constantly thinking what was going to happen next, and the ending was something else. Even though the quality of modern films has shown a dramatic dip these days, this film truly feels like a breath of fresh air with great storytelling, and actors that absolutely killed it in their roles (Murphy as Oppenheimer, Downey Jr as Strauss, Blunt as Oppenheimer's wife, and Damon as Groves to name a few). After watching this film, Oppenheimer truly has a set of guts for still carrying out the test of the atomic bomb despite the mind-boggling risks it posed. Only God knows what would have happened if he decided not to carry out the atomic bomb test and how the rest of history would have ensued. This one of a kind history film in my opinion is one of the best films this year. If your into history, you'll LOVE this film undoubtedly. I might have to start watching more films directed by Nolan after this. To make a long review short, this film directed by him went out with a HUUUUUGGGGGEEEEE BANG AND A HALF!!!

I'm gonna be honest about this: I really don't get all the praise and hype about this movie at all. I was really disappointed. There are so many flaws with this film that I have to separate this into FOUR parts. 1: The plot, or lack thereof. There were so many plot holes it was beyond unbearable. Even though the film may haven given hints about what is going on, they aren't focused on them long enough and/or cut to the next scene way too quickly. The film should have done a better job on focusing what the plot was about. 2: The runtime. Even though the runtime was only 86 minutes, it felt way longer than that due to the many plot holes like I mentioned before. It should have been at the very least 90 minutes or longer to fix the flaws regarding the plot, but unfortunately this film fails to do so. 3: The character development. There is very little to no character development seen in this film. That also made it very difficult to determine what exactly was going on in the film itself. In addition to this, the post-credits scene made absolutely no sense and it was so unbelievably cringe. Why the hell did the film not mention more about Kip and Lafawnduh's relationship before they got married? Somebody explain that to me. 4: The humor. Even though I did get a couple of laughs here and there, it was very confusing overall to figure out the subject matter of the humor in this film. I was left more dumbfounded than anything. To basically summarize this, this film will leave you very disappointed in what is supposed to be a "comedy" film. Really wish I can give this review 0 stars if anything. Please don't make the same mistake I did in renting this movie and wasting my time. You will regret it.

If there is one Pixar film that I have to choose that is a masterpiece, it is undoubtedly this one. Where do I even begin!? You would think a movie involving anthropomorphic cars wouldn't do that great in regards of filmmaking right? Well, if there is one studio that can beat those odds and can take it to the next level, it is PIXAR! After their successes with Finding Nemo, and The Incredibles, they truly know how to outdo themselves with each film they made in the 2000's and this one is no exception. From the very first second of this film to the last, it explains the story at the most perfect pace I've ever seen and STILL has some of the most memorable quotes in Pixar film history. Here are two of them: "Float Like A Cadillac? Sting like a Beamer!" "It's just an empty cup." If you have not seen this film yet, you are totally missing out an amazing piece of filmmaking history. You will NOT regret watching this!

WOW. Wow, wow, wow. What, a movie this was! The intro sequence of this film was definitely one of the best but also one of the most emotional moments that I've seen in movies, but the way Carl Fredricksen gets along with Russell, Dug, and Kevin is one of the most influential things that I have ever seen in movies! It was also very humorous at times too! Would totally recommend anyone to watch this movie! One of the best films I've seen in years! 10/10!
