I’m extremely shocked and saddened by the negative reviews about this film. As a veteran I want to say that this is one of the finest films I have ever seen. The dialogue, and the monologues are absolutely perfect. “We said no. We’ll live to fight you. We’ll live for revenge. But we didn’t. No. We don’t live. We’re miming in the choir. We can’t love. We can’t sleep. We’re an army of ghosts.” Those are the real sentiments of veterans. AND WHAT AN INCREDIBLE ENDING! Who would have thought it could have possibly ended like that? This film is a masterpiece. I honestly feel those who are critical of it didn’t understand it.
