I really think people need to get over the drastic changes with the environment and look at what this movie was trying to accomplish. Each and everyday there is more and more evidence coming to light that 10,000 years ago not all Congregations of humans we're Hunter gathers, some even managed so sustain agriculture and this movie really tries to depict that. When they reach Egypt you get to witness the pyramids being built, now do I believe the way they portrayed it was accurate and correct, no I don't. But it conveys the idea some civilizations of that time we're more advanced than others, the movie even includes current theories of today that suggest the pyramids are older than what we know and could be the work or knowledge of other older civilizations. The Sphinx was also shown as a lion and many expert's believe the original society who began construction of the Sphinx built it as a lion it was only the Egyptians who transformed the original construction thousands of years later, water erosion has caused inaccuracies with the exact date.
Look up Graham Hancock and Randall Carlson. The history we were taught in school will soon change and will be updated.
This movie is ahead of it's time with how it depicts ancient civilizations. Now are some things just absolutely ridiculous yes obviously it's a movie, but I commend the direction it had and also the genuine research into what may have actually been happening back then with the
different levels of progression and the diverse nature of cultures. Just my opinion but look up Graham Hancock and Randall Carlson, challenge your thoughts.
