Deeply unsatisfying. A series of lists and images held together by superficial characters and a storyline that apparently was never worked out but ends with the platitude to live like you’re dying. Also a cringe obsession with sexual anatomy for no discernible reason. As badly as the white couple are developed, the Black couple are almost inhuman, like the brain dead characters from Get Out. But hey, if you want to see someone flaunt a good vocabulary this is your book.
