As a big fan of the books I have found this series up to episode five completely disappointing. Almost all the male characters have been changed into weak little boys to allow the female characters to shine as protectors and strong. This was completely unnecessary as the female characters in the books are already strong and amazing, shining in their own special way. While I will commend the acting and portrayal of some of the characters namely Nyneve and Morane almost all other characters have been changed into a more gray sort of background characters instead of their brilliant and interesting selves. But the biggest problem is the writers altering things unnecessarily for a political agenda. They claim time issues and that would be understandable if they didn’t add in 30 min sub arc that never happened in the books. In essence they have bastardized one of the greatest fantasy series of all time just to try and show a political message while disregarding the spirit, world building, and overall story of the wheel of time. I recommend reading the books as they are infinitely better than this Wheel of woke garbage. For future reference AMAZON follow the original source material or write your own stuff. (if you can even do that)
