Johnson nails the execution here, a whodunit in the vein of Agatha Christie but delightfully American and Modern. The cast brings the characters to life as the story twists and turns. The atmosphere and setting is spot on, and should be a masterclass in Production Design. The character Benoit Blanc, played by Daniel Craig, is a brilliantly realized new sleuth in the spirit of Hercule Poirot. It will be a blast to see the continuing Adventures and Mysteries of Benoit Blanc in future films.
