Inaccurate and ahistorical. Portrayed the most historically tolerant nation during the Middle Ages as anti-Semitic. Drinking was not common, harems were restricted solely to the royal courts, and mullahs didn't prostrate before their leaders. There was not any torture of religious people in Iran.
It would've been an excellent movie if it took place in France or England, but sucks in Iran.
