I loved this inspirational film, so sensitively directed and beautifully photographed. It was great to see my favourite actress Waheeda Rahman make a special appearance. Girls too need opportunities. Only then they can show what they are capable of. Bravo TEAM SKATER GIRL!

Manto is a brilliant film! Congrats to Nandita Das, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and all those involved in making this wonderful film about the Indian subcontinent's most powerful but controversial short story writer. It is wonderful to see some of the finest actors in India cinema in this film in powerful roles that last barely a few minutes: Rishi Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vinod Nagpal, Ranveer Shorey, and Divya Dutta. Nandita has emerged as a fine filmmaker. And Nawazuddin is truly one of India's finest actors today. Judged by any yardstick, this is an outstanding film. Deserves to be seen by lovers of good cinema everywhere. And I expect it to win lots of awards in India and abroad.
