Zachary Williams

This show is exactly what you get when you have an interesting premise and not much else. The writing is lazy and flows terribly. They try to force a sense of urgency saying the guy is going to die once it hits 5 million views. They get to 3.6 million views immediately and then have seemingly infinite time while this is headline news and everyone knows about it. Credit where it's due, the acting in the series is rather good especially considering the poor quality of the writing. The show is filled with one-dimensional characters and gives you really nobody to root for because they spend all their time doing such dumb things that you become annoyed with every character. They try to portray the main detective as some brilliant underdog by having him eventually ask really obvious questions that he should have asked in the first interview and having him get into terribly contrived confrontations with his peers. The show is ambitious, but it does a horrible job executing. The time I spent watching this was time wasted.

Absolute trash. The writing is beyond terrible, the cast has no organic chemistry, the characters are one-dimensional and uninspired. The acting of Michael Douglas is not bad, but cannot redeem the dull character and contrived dialogue. The budget, production values, and respectable guest stars should have set the stage for an entertaining series, but this show falls incredibly short in execution.
