Shogunyan the Undaunting

This is the best Sonic game, the peak of all peaks, it is amazing in every way. All the zones are amazing and fun (even my least favorite zone, Carnival Night). The music is top tier and the best in the Sonic series. The zone transitions and story make the game more charming, they're several playable characters (Knuckles has his own story too). There is no more I can say, it's just that good, go play it.

Love this game, it's really fun and a blast, don't let the average look of it drive you away. The way I'd describe it is a watered-down Sonic 2, and that's not meant as an insult, Sonic 2 is easily one of the best Sonic games. Pocket Adventure has great level design, good music, ok visuals, the special stages are half-pipe (which I'm not a fan of). The game is fast-paced and quite short, with only 15 acts (16 if you collect the emeralds). I'd recommend playing it.
