Before ZSJL, the feedback on MOS and BVS was too dark, with no character development, we finally get the movie we all wanted, and now the feedback is the movie is "too long, too dark"! People are never going to be satisfied in this world with anything. The 2017 version of JL was an utter waste of time, unnecessary reshoots in an attempt to follow the MCU, WB needs to stick to their own identity and not try to be like anyone else. #continuethesnyderverse is the only way forward. So many angles have opened up for WB and the DCU after the ZSJL, even if ZS is not the director, he should be consulted for future movies to ensure the tone and structure are in line with what he has begun.
